My lunch was awesome!
If you have not been to BurgerFi, you need to find one and go! My first visit to BurgerFi was last summer when I was visiting friends in South Florida. I tend to overindulge, especially when places serve tasty desserts, and eventhough the burger and fries are a bit rich, I went for it and got a Frozen Concrete as well!

Vanilla concrete with peanut butter and chocolate sprinkles.
In January my mother was visiting and my brother happened to be in the area at the same time, so of course I took them to BurgerFi. I got what I usually get, but my brother ventured outside the box and tried more unique items on the menu.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Concrete (this was mine)
Kobe Beef Chili Cheese Dog
His choices were definitely different, but the BAD Burger was not bad -the maple glazed bacon on it gives it a little touch of sweetness. I'm not a fan of "dogs" of any kind really, but I had a taste and I wasn't overly impressed with the Kobe Beef so I don't know that it was necessary.
Not only are the burgers excellent at BurgerFi, but they have the best onion rings I have ever had! Usually when you get onion rings they're breaded and when you take a bite the coating slides right off and you're left with just a slimy cooked onion. BurgerFi's onion rings are battered and everything stays in tact when you take a bite. They're chewy, golden, and delicious.
As you can see with my photo at the top, I skipped onion rings today and went with an item from the "Secret Menu" and ordered "Alternative Fries" -french fries, covered with grilled onions, american cheese, mustard and BurgerFi sauce. An order of fries is quite large for one person, and with all that extra stuff I was only able to eat about 1/2.
To wrap up though, Burger Fi hit the spot today, however, considering summer traffic around here is terrible and it took probably 30 minutes to get there, it'll be a while before I go back. They say "absence makes the heart grow fonder," well I say "absence makes the meal that much better!"
