What did I do this weekend?
Friday I bought two more Alex and Ani bracelets: the Claddagh and the Mosaic Souk Wrap.
When I got home Friday evening I couldn't resist the limit supply and sale price and had to order a LeSportSac "Global Journey" bag from their Disney It's a Small World Collection. I've wanted it for a while and didn't want to miss out. I love the pattern on "Global Journey," the colors are good, the size is decent. My only guilt comes from the fact that I already have FOUR Disney World purses, and I am patiently waiting for the Disney Vera Bradley bags to come out.
Yesterday I went with a friend on a teacher store adventure. One store led to a stop at Office Depot (25 cent composition books!), which led us on a journey, or rather I got us lost, on our way to another teacher store. Ordered some books on eBay when I got home by The Mailbox (so cheap too!) and since sour cream was only 89 cents at Publix I made a Chocolate Sour Cream Cake!
Today I finished my school supply shopping. Wrapped it up with visits to two different Staples locations and a stop at Office Depot.
All in total, including the books I got on eBay yesterday, I spent about $120. In doing the math last night I believe I saved almost $130. And here is my haul...
Every year you need more paper, pencils, and glue sticks. I had some students be irresponsible with my scissors and staplers last year so I've bought more of those. New highlighters, a new tape dispenser, and couple other supplies that will come in handy. I have a couple more items to get -non supply related- but I will wait until after I get into my classroom this week to check it.
Can't believe the summer is almost over. I have a week left and a pretty packed schedule, but the weekend was productive.
